In 2011, District Attorney Gascón reformed and expanded the City’s community courts to a new model: Neighborhood Court. The program is designed to resolve cases efficiently, create community-driven solutions to crime, reduce the burden on our courts, and reduce recidivism. For more information click here.

First Offender Prostitution Program (FOPP)
The First Offender Prostitution Program (FOPP) is a prosecutor led diversion program that seeks to reduce recidivism among first time solicitors of prostitution. Eligible “johns” participate in an eight hour Saturday School focused on building knowledge regarding the consequences, both personal and societal, of buying sexual services.
