Edwin Ramos’ Co-Conspirator Wilfredo Reyes a.k.a “Flaco” Arrested for 2008 Triple Murder

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – District Attorney George Gascón announced today that Wilfredo Ruano Reyes, age 31, a.k.a. “Flaco” was arrested this morning at 8:50am EST in Salisbury, North Carolina. Reyes had an outstanding $5 million dollar arrest warrant for his role in the 2008 triple murders of Tony, Michael and Matthew Bologna.

“Today I share this major development with members of the Bologna family, who have suffered so much since the tragic murders of Tony, Michael and Matthew,” says District Attorney George Gascón. “We are one step closer to bringing this individual to justice for his heinous crimes. Once the extradition process is complete, we will prosecute this case to the fullest extent.”

 Federal agents from I.C.E., the San Francisco Police Department, and the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office worked in collaboration to apprehend Reyes this morning. As law enforcement officials entered his residence, Reyes attempted to flee from a window but was apprehended. Reyes now faces extradition to California where he will be charged with with three counts of murder, one count of conspiracy to murder, one count of attempted murder, and gang allegations.
