Public Education Campaigns
At the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, our primary goal is to thoughtfully and comprehensively enhance public safety. We do this by diligently prosecuting serious and violent offenders, collaborating with policymakers to support timely legislation, and pioneering innovative alternatives to traditional prosecution to break the cyclical nature of crime. We also strongly believe that it is our responsibility to share information with the public to raise awareness about important issues affecting our community.
To this effect, the office runs year-round public education campaigns, backed by robust data and rooted in evidence-based tips and measures, to help community members stay safe and foster greater civic engagement. We believe that alert individuals and active community members are essential to making San Francisco safer for us all.
