District Attorney Boudin Announces New Victim Services AAPI Unit and Ongoing Work to Increase Trauma Treatment for Victims

Today, San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin announces that the District Attorney’s Office’s Victim Services Division (“VSD”) has launched a new Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Unit, and has hired Dr. Paul Lam to be its Director. The Unit will serve and support the many AAPI community members in San Francisco, who have historically been underserved. As part of its commitment to supporting victims, the District Attorney’s Office is also working to expand available trauma treatment for AAPI crime victims.
