San Francisco, CA – Today, San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins announced that Gage Wynne (32), of San Francisco, has been charged in connection with human trafficking offenses. Mr. Wynne is scheduled to be arraigned on August 11, 2025, at 1:30 pm at the Hall of Justice in Department 10. Mr. Wynne is currently in custody. The District Attorney’s Office will move to have Mr. Wynne detained pending trial because of the public safety risk he poses.
Mr. Wynne is charged with two counts of human trafficking (PC 236.1(b), two counts of pimping (PC 266h(a)), and two counts of pandering by procuring (PC 266i(i)).
According to court documents, Mr. Wynne was the subject of a human trafficking, pimping and pandering investigation by the San Francisco Police. San Francisco Police identified numerous sex work advertisements in San Francisco and across the Bay Area, allegedly controlled by Mr. Wynne. Before San Francisco Police began investigating Mr. Wynne, he had been arrested by South San Francisco Police following an operation to rescue human trafficking victims. Allegedly, he was identified as the “boyfriend” of a victim whom he allegedly drove to a hotel to engage in sex work.
Although charges have been filed, this remains an active investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the San Francisco Police Department Tip Line at 1-415-575-4444 or Text a Tip to TIP411 and begin the text message with SFPD. You may remain anonymous.
