SAN FRANCISCO MAN CHARGED WITH PIMPING AND PANDERING

San Francisco, CA – Today, San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins announced that Ricci Wynne (39), of San Francisco, has been charged in connection with human trafficking offenses. Mr. Wynne was arraigned on November 27, 2024, and pleaded not guilty to all charges. He is charged with one count of pimping (PC 266h(a)), and one count of pandering by procuring (PC 266i(a)(1)).

“I would like to thank the San Francisco Police for their investigation and arrest in this matter,” said District Attorney Brooke Jenkins. “Holding those accountable who engage in the sexual exploitation of women will always be a priority of the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office.”

According to court discussions, Mr. Wynne was found in possession of phones which contained evidence of sex advertisements for a woman, communications of the woman being available to have sex in exchange for money, and the collecting of money.

Prosecutors moved to have Mr. Wynne detained pending trial because of the public safety risk he poses. The court released him temporarily to federal custody but ordered that he must return to San Francisco Superior Court on December 6, 2024. The preliminary hearing for this matter has been scheduled for December 12, 2024.

Although charges have been filed, this remains an active investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the San Francisco Police Department Tip Line at 1-415-575-4444 or Text a Tip to TIP411 and begin the text message with SFPD. You may remain anonymous.
