San Francisco, CA – Today, San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins announced that Marvin Duran (32), was charged in connection to a fatal shooting of his mother. Mr. Duran was arraigned on June 25, 2025, and pleaded not guilty to all charges and denied the allegation. Mr. Duran is also charged with three counts of child endangerment (PC 273(a)(a)).

According to court documents, on June 21, 2025, at approximately 3:45 pm, SFPD responded to the one hundred block of Brookdale Avenue upon a report of a shooting.
