San Francisco, CA – San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins announced today that her office secured a conviction of Adam Thomas Cordle (50) after a trial by jury for an indecent exposure incident at Crocker Amazon Park.
“I would like to thank the jury for their service in this trial, and the witness who reported this unlawful conduct immediately to law enforcement,” said District Attorney Brooke Jenkins. “Mr. Cordle’s conduct was completely inappropriate and unacceptable anywhere in our city, especially in a beloved neighborhood park. This verdict holds him accountable and will require that he register as a sex offender for at least 10 years.”
According to evidence presented at trial, on the morning of July 2, 2025, a local woman was walking alone on a public trail at Crocker Amazon Park when she noticed a man, later identified as Mr. Cordle, masturbating in the bushes. Mr. Cordle was fully exposed from the waist down and he continued to masturbate while maintaining eye contact. The woman stopped a group of children from walking directly toward the location where Mr. Cordle was masturbating and called the police. When officers arrived, Mr. Cordle was still fully exposed, with a bottle of baby oil at his feet and a thick, white substance in his hand. The witness testified that the incident left her feeling shocked and traumatized.
The case against Mr. Cordle was successfully prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Samantha Zurcher, with assistance from Investigator Teddy Martin, paralegals Josh Nickchen and Raquel Paz Aleman, and IT specialists Noaeh Pinaire and Leland Chan. Prosecutors were able to develop a strong case against Mr. Cordle based on the prompt response and thorough investigation by officers from the San Francisco Police Department’s Ingleside Station.
“I am incredibly grateful to the jury for their careful consideration of the evidence,” said Assistant District Attorney Samantha Zurcher. “This conviction shows that the people of San Francisco will not tolerate public indecency in our beloved parks and in the vicinity of children.”
