SIX CHARGED IN CONNECTION TO MULTIPLE UNRELATED INCIDENTS DURING PRIDE WEEKEND

San Francisco, CA – Today, San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins announced that multiple people have been charged in connection to the shooting, stabbing and vandalism incidents that occurred during Pride weekend. The defendants in the shooting and stabbing incidents are scheduled to be arraigned on July 1, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. and the defendants in the vandalism incidents are scheduled to be arraigned on July 2, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.

SHOOTING INCIDENT
Jules Reeves (19) is charged with multiple felonies in connection to a shooting that occurred on June 27, 2026. Mr. Reeves is scheduled to be arraigned on July 1, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., at the Hall of Justice. Prosecutors will move to have Reeves held in custody pending trial without bail due to the public safety risk he poses.

Mr. Reeves is charged with assault with a firearm with an allegation that he personally used a firearm, and personally inflicted great bodily injury on the victim. He is also charged with carrying a loaded firearm that he was not the registered owner of (PC 25850(a)), carrying a concealed firearm that he was not the registered owner of (PC 25400(a)(2)), resistance to a peace officer, causing serious injury (PC 148.10(a)) and violating a court order (PC 166(a)(4)). The criminal complaint also alleges that these crimes were committed while Mr. Reeves was released on his own recognizance in a pending felony criminal case (PC 12022.1(b)).

According to court documents, on June 27, 2026, at 3:32 p.m., during a verbal argument in a crowded public area at Leavenworth Street and McAllister Street, Mr. Reeves allegedly threatened to kill the victim, produced a loaded handgun, and pointed it at the victim. A physical struggle ensued, during which Mr. Reeves allegedly fired the gun, striking the victim in the hand and causing an injury that required surgery. While the victim was on the ground, Mr. Reeves allegedly repeatedly struck him in the head and body with the firearm. Following the assault, Mr. Reeves, allegedly handed the firearm to another individual and fled on foot. SFPD Officers pursued Mr. Reeves who allegedly did not comply with orders to stop. During the foot pursuit, an officer fell and suffered a fractured elbow. At the time of the charged incident, Mr. Reeves was out of custody on multiple pending felony cases, including firearm-related offenses, and subject to a court order not to possess firearms or any weapons.

STABBING INCIDENT
Nyasha Gipson (22) is charged with multiple felonies in connection to a stabbing that occurred on June 28, 2026. Ms. Gipson is scheduled to be arraigned on July 1, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., at the Hall of Justice.

Ms. Gipson is charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon (PC 245(a)(1)) with allegations that she personally inflicted great bodily injury on two victims. Prosecutors will move to have Gipson held in custody pending trial without bail due to the public safety risk she poses.

According to court documents, on June 28, 2026, as the crowds were dispersing from Pride festivities held at UN Plaza, Ms. Gipson encountered three women on the 1100 block of Market Street. Without warning or provocation, Ms. Gibson allegedly used a knife to assault three people. One victim was stabbed in the leg, a second was stabbed in the torso while attempting to shield the other victim. A third victim, who was able to avoid serious injury, was allegedly nicked in the leg by the knife. Following the incident, Ms. Gipson allegedly tried to flee, but was arrested on the scene.

VANDALISM INCIDENTS
Four individuals have been charged in connection to vandalism incidents that occurred on June 26, 2026.

Sienna Hayes (33) and Knorr Betcher (28) are each charged with eight counts of felony vandalism (PC 594(b)(1)) and possession of graffiti tools (PC 594.2(a)). Hayes is also charged with resisting, obstructing, delaying a peace officer (PC 148(a)(1)). According to the criminal complaint, surveillance cameras and walls were vandalized at eight different locations. Hayes and Betcher are scheduled to be arraigned on July 2, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., at the Hall of Justice.

Katherine Legros (33) is charged with resisting, obstructing, delaying a peace officer (PC 148(a)(1). Daniel Macias-Gomez (23) is charged with battery on a peace officer (PC 243(b)) and resisting, obstructing, delaying a peace officer (PC 148(a)(1)). Legros and Macias-Gomez are scheduled to be arraigned on July 2, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., at the Hall of Justice.

According to San Francisco Police, on June 26, 2026, at approximately 7:00 p.m., officers monitoring the Trans March observed two individuals vandalizing property with paint at Market Street and Eighth Street. As the vandalism was occurring, one of the individuals assaulted and sprayed paint on a person. When officers tried to detain the suspects at Turk Street and Taylor Street, other individuals surrounded and obstructed the officers in an attempt to free the vandalism suspects.
