San Francisco, CA – Today, San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins announced that two men have been charged in connection with human trafficking offenses. Both men were arrested in unrelated cases following San Francisco Human Trafficking Task Force operations.
Junior Anthony Williams (22) was arraigned on February 4, 2026, and pleaded not guilty to all charges and denied the allegations. Mr. Williams is charged with human trafficking, pimping, pandering by encouraging, domestic violence, evading an officer, and possession of a controlled substance. Prosecutors moved to have Mr. Williams detained without bail because of the public safety risk he poses. The court set no bail and Mr. Williams remains in custody at this time. His next court date is February 9, 2026, for a hearing and February 18, 2026, for the preliminary hearing.
According to court documents, Mr. Williams allegedly coerced a woman into engaging in sex work for him. Allegedly he also created and posted advertisements on the internet for the victim. In one instance, he allegedly drove her to Sacramento to engage in sex work.
Ramon Watkins (37) made his first court appearance on February 4, 2026, but was not arraigned because the Public Defender’s Office declared themselves unavailable. Arraignment was continued to February 5, 2026, and the Public Defender’s Office declared themselves unavailable again. Arraignment is currently scheduled for February 6, 2026. Mr. Watkins is charged with pimping, pandering by procuring, evading an officer, and resisting an officer. Prosecutors moved to have Mr. Watkins detained without bail, at the first calling of this case on February 4, 2026, because of the public safety risk he poses. The court set bail in the amount of $100,000. The Public Defender is ordered to show cause as to why they should not be held in contempt for failing to accept appointment of an indigent defendant’s case as required by law at a hearing on February 10, 2026.
According to court documents, on January 31, 2026, Mr. Watkins allegedly transported a woman to engage in prostitution in a white Infiniti. Allegedly, Mr. Watkins attempted to flee when he saw police in the area but was apprehended by San Francisco Police. From the vehicle, Police recovered indicia of sex work, a watch tied to a prior robbery, and text messages allegedly showing Mr. Watkins facilitating acts of prostitution and shared in the proceeds of the sex work.
