National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW)

April is a meaningful month for victims and survivors of crime, as it brings heightened awareness and reflection on their experiences.

Not only is April Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) and National Child Abuse Prevention Month, but it also marks the observance of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW), which takes place April 19-April 25

Since 1981, NCVRW has challenged the Nation to confront and remove barriers to achieving justice for all victims of crime. During NCVRW, we honor the accomplishments of the victims’ rights movement and take the time to reflect on the significant strides we’ve made in advocating for those whose lives have been impacted by crime.
